The Department of Botany at JKKN College of Arts and Science is seeking a qualified and experienced Professor to join their faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in the field of botany. They will also be expected to engage in departmental and college service and contribute to the development of the department\'s curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in botany at the undergraduate and graduate level
• Conduct research in the field of botany and publish research findings in relevant academic journals
• Advise and mentor students in the department and assist with their professional development
• Participate in departmental and college service activities
• Contribute to the development and revision of the department\'s curriculum

Qualifications:

• A PhD in Botany or a related field from a reputable institution
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research in the field of botany
• Experience in advising and mentoring students
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
• Commitment to the mission and vision of JKKN College of Arts and Science

• Plant taxonomy and systematics
• Plant ecology and evolution
• Plant pathology and disease management
• Plant genetics and biotechnology
• Ethnobotany and medicinal plants

Salary for all positions will be based on qualification and experience and will not be a limiting factor for the right candidate.
