The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the latest developments in visual communication. Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in visual communication, including design theory, graphic design, and digital media. Develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments. Evaluate student progress and provide feedback. Conduct research and publish scholarly work in relevant areas of visual communication. Participate in departmental and college-wide committees, initiatives, and events. Advise and mentor students, helping them to achieve their academic and career goals. Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with the latest trends and best practices in visual communication. Qualifications: Ph.D. in visual communication or a related field. Significant teaching experience in visual communication at the undergraduate level. Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of visual communication, such as design theory, graphic design, or digital media. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students. Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. Record of scholarly publications in relevant areas of visual communication. Experience mentoring and advising students.
