Job Title Professional , Software Development Engineering

What does Software Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will play a key role in the software delivery process for our Professional Services teams, delivering mobile banking solutions in international markets.

This a hands-on role where you will work with the rest of the QA team and take ownership of the .net deliverables to ensure only the highest quality products make it out the door.

We are interested in someone with a strong development background and mindset, development experience and continuous education in the software development field. You will know how to apply critical thinking skills in you role to identify problems in our products..

You will be part of a high performing team, passionate about what they do with a commitment to getting projects across the line.

What you will need to have -

• Support the development of high-quality software within a scrum team
• Contribute to code quality through maintaining high quality software development standards
• Support technical design decisions through validation of technical approaches and prototyping of new concepts
• Support team members to ensure successful sprint outcomes
• Raising technical, security, delivery and performance risks
• Be part of and help promote our DevOps culture
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to the development practice

What would be great to have

• Hands-on experience with C#, WebApi, MVC.Net, ASP.Net, WCF, Third party Integration Experience, Design Patterns and SQL Server
• Strong client-facing skills and experience
• Good understanding of software development patterns, object oriented design principles, and coding techniques
• Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies including Scrum
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Sciences
• Can-do attitude with a delivery focus
