The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations in the manufacturing unit. This role ensures that manufacturing processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. The supervisor coordinates manpower, monitors workflow, and ensures timely completion of production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management
Supervise daily operations.
Plan and allocate manpower to meet production schedules.
Ensure all production activities adhere to standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with QC, store, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
Quality Control
Identify and rectify production errors or defects immediately.
Work closely with the QC team to maintain product quality standards.
Resource & Equipment Management
Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
Supervise and guide production workers, ensuring discipline and efficiency.
Provide on-the-job training to operators and helpers.
Maintain attendance and performance records of team members.
Submit daily production reports to the Production Manager.
Highlight production delays, manpower shortages, or material issues promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or ITI / Degree (or equivalent).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet production deadlines.
