Production Supervisor - Shift Leader

You will be working as Production Supervisor - Shift Leader role reporting to Production Manager and will be part of Motion division Business Area for Motion- Drive Products Division based in Bangalore, India. Supervise a shift team’s progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment and assembly lines within a production area. Cooperate with the unit supervisor to create an effective work environment and reinforce production schedules and quality.

Your responsibilities

• Assists management and shift team in allocating.
• coordinating and overseeing shift orders and work plan. Execution within production lines during the shift.
• Provides regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line including production line organization.
• Help management implement staff allocation in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages or shifting priorities.
• Serves as leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and provide resolution to technical problems and logistics issues.
• Ensures the shift operation are in compliance with health & safety.
• Identify deficiencies in production area and propose for improvement actions.
• Identify and recommend technical equipment, facility and provide improvements as necessary.
• Train the associates in the line/product. Plan for multi skill Operation. Train all the associates to
• Follow the safety standards pertaining to the line/product.

Your background

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in the similar industry.
• Good Knowledge in production process.
• Good Knowledge in SAP.
