Oracle Cerner is excited to hire a Production Software Engineer II. As a Production Software Engineer II, you will be responsible to troubleshoot and analyze intermediate technical coding issues submitted by internal or external clients. You will be responsible to triage and escalate incidents, problem management issues, and urgent issues requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources. You will be responsible to provide release support for go-lives and code deployments. You will be responsible for effectively using and navigating the development process and code repositories. You will be responsible to apply basic code and testing changes and fixes to resolve issues. You will be responsible to develop and execute test plans for basic diagnostic packages. You will also be responsible to perform root cause analysis with clients to resolve lower complexity issues.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

At least 5 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

At least 1 year of software engineering work experience

At least 4 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 to 4 years of experience in application support, troubleshooting, Incident management, Problem management & Change Management.

Should be good in OOPS, SQL, and any programming language.

Experience in handling L2 tickets will be added advantage

Willing to work in Shift timings - 5.30 pm to 2.30 am IST

Should have excellent Communication Skills and be able to interact with stakeholders in different regions of the world
