Responsibilities:

As a Production Shift In-charge in the dairy industry, the candidate will be responsible for the following:-

Overseeing and coordinating the production activities within your designated shift
Lead and supervise a team of production workers, monitoring processes, and resolving any operational issues that arise during your shift
Collaborate with the production manager and other shift in-charges to create production schedules and allocate resources effectively
Implement quality control measures to maintain product standards, inspecting products at various stages of the production process, and addressing any quality issues
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, and sanitation standards, to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

Minimum 2+ years of experience working in the dairy industry is essential, preferably in a production or manufacturing role
Strong knowledge of dairy production processes, equipment, and quality standards
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly in a fast-paced production environment
Sound understanding of safety regulations, hygiene practices, and quality control procedures
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
