What you will be doing
Planning

• Co-ordination with sales team for monthly demand.
• Monthly production planning to meet customer expectation
• Forecasting to anticipate demand, inventory level based on capacity & various lead times through weekly S&OP Meeting
• Ensure Stable opening stock for next month requirement
• Liaison with Sales, Logistics, Production, Purchase, QA for manufacturing planning and daily control of production and Supply.
• Daily monitoring & controlling the inventory levels at both ends (In house and customer end) and ensure that no shortage at customer end.
• Daily monitoring of production plan vs actual and do shortfall analysis.
• Preparation of Management Reports (MIS) to provide feedback on production performance and fine-tuning Production Planning & Control Strategies.
• Issue the production orders as per material balancing & daily planning for production line.
• Inventory control: - by maintaining timely record of inventories of all the items and to maintain the stock within the desired limit.
• To work on liquidation of non-moving inventory.
• Carrying out SAP transactions for PP module like taking MRP-1, MRP-2, generating planned and production orders, creating purchase requisitions, capacity planning, material status, undertake job closing and undertake physical inventory stock verification.
• PPAP planning for new products.

Purchasing

• Material planning based of supplier lead time and customer demand
• Safety stock calculation
• Co-ordinate with buyer for timely release of Purchase Orders.
• Monitoring supply of material vs demand to avoid line stoppage.
• Timely escalation and resolution of supply issues.
• Should be aware of import purchases and custom clearance procedures.

Warehouse

• Co-ordinate with warehouse team for timely dispatches.
• Monthly inventory count
• To reduce transportation cost by effective planning of dispatches
• To calculate space required for warehouse based on customer demand.

IATF, SAP & Safety

• Should be aware of IATF procedures.
• Should have knowledge of SAP - MM, PP, SD module. Should be able to handle master data in SAP.
• Should be aware of EHS & OHSAS requirement.

Who we are looking for Functional Requirements

• 8 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years of experience in Production planning and Purchase
• SAP \xe2\x80\x93 MM / PP / WM module
• Statistical and problem solving techniques
• Strategic thinking with a systematic approach
• High level of judgment in decision making in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to multitask and work across cultures
• Reliable background in supply chain management and work safety

Personal Skills

• University Degree / Diploma (preferable in Business or Engineering)
• Knowledge in the Inventory Management and System
• Strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal & communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes
