Inventory Management:
Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, managing material procurement, and coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Resource Allocation:
Collaborating with production managers and other departments to prioritize and allocate resources for production activities, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
Monitoring Production Progress:
Tracking production progress, identifying bottlenecks and delays, and implementing corrective actions to optimize production efficiency and meet quality standards.
Data Analysis:
Analyzing production data, identifying trends, and recommending process improvements to enhance production efficiency and minimize costs.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicating production schedules, progress, and issues to relevant stakeholders, including production managers, procurement teams, and higher management.
Continuous Improvement:
Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing corrective actions, and contributing to the overall optimization of the production process.
Maintaining Records:
Maintaining accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production costs.
Forecasting:
Predicting future demand and planning production accordingly.
Problem-solving:
Identifying and resolving production issues, such as material shortages or equipment malfunctions.
Budgeting:
Creating and managing production budgets, as required.
