Urgent Opening for Production Manager in leading FMCG company in Madurai Position Name : Production Manager Qualification : BE / MBA Experience : 15 yrs - 18 yrs Salary : Negotiable Location : Madurai Industry : Food / Spices / Agriculture / FMCG Roles & Responsibilities: Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organization mission specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning. Oversee overall resource availability, planning, systems, operation and controls and HACCP, GHP, GMP, implementation with training of the employee and record keeping. Plan and guide the team member for the day to day schedules and planning according the market requirements regarding manufacturing of the products. Conduct periodic line audit and review performance of lines regularly with maintenance. Ensure proper training in safety and accident prevention for team leader and operators, Participate in safety committee meetings if needed and follow up on action plan for safety issue. Update training level of operators and organize training events utilizing the excess time. Managing line from receiving of Raw material to production, Packing, Storage to dispatch of material. Responsible for independent handling of shift operation by making production planning as per requirement. Establishing manufacturing quality standards (SOP, GMP), methods and procedures on shop floors. Review of all line records for %yield, % gain, %losses in production department. Implementation of standard quality norms and ensuring adherence to various rules and regulation. Record keeping and documentation as per global standard food safety system. Handling customer complaints and improvement in system to avoid reoccurrence. Monitoring and control of all process parameters. Tracking of all types of Raw material for received quantity, production done and % Average yield. Knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSMS, Food safety etc.
