Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the overall production operations of the plant to achieve business objectives in terms of productivity, quality, cost efficiency, safety, and timely delivery. The Plant Head ensures optimal resource utilization, continuous improvement, and adherence to regulatory and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:1. Production & Operations Management

Plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing operations to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials. Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery as per customer and business requirements. Implement lean manufacturing practices and drive operational excellence initiatives.

2. Quality & Compliance

Maintain strict quality control across all processes; ensure zero defect and minimal rework. Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, safety, and environmental standards. Coordinate with QA/QC teams for product audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.

3. Cost & Efficiency Management

Monitor and control production costs and budgets. Drive cost reduction programs without compromising on quality and safety. Optimize supply chain and inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods.

4. Team Leadership & Development

Lead, train, and motivate the production team for high performance and accountability. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Manage workforce planning, performance reviews, and skill development programs.

5. Maintenance & Safety

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and utilities are followed. Promote workplace safety and ensure compliance with statutory safety norms. Lead safety audits and ensure zero accident culture.

6. Coordination & Reporting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Purchase, Quality, R&D, HR, etc.) for smooth operations. Prepare and present MIS reports on production, quality, and efficiency metrics to management.

Pay: ₹19,149.93 - ₹50,756.11 per month
