JD of Head \xe2\x80\x93 Operation.

• Qualification

Degree in engineering (preferably chemical) with at least 15-20 years relevant production/ process/ project experience or at least 20 years relevant experience in a chemical unit operation; of which at least 10 years as a Sr. manager independently handling technical and commercial aspects of a comparable manufacturing unit.

• Requisite Skills & Knowledge for this Position

• Good knowledge of chemistry, reaction & process
• Good communication skill - Good written and verbal English & Gujarati communication
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001,OHSAS 18001 management system.
• Good knowledge of safe and effective plant operations
• Adequate knowledge of MS Office & SAP (preferred)
• Knowledge of warehousing
• Good knowledge of handling projects
• Good leadership ability to lead the factory team
• Good analytical skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of management & all departments across functions
• Thorough Knowledge of the Factories Act & Rules and all applicable statutory rules and regulations related with the Operations of factory (Workers Rule & Acts including IDA, WC, etc)Knowledge of Procedures, Rules, Acts and Compliances of EHS regulations.
• Knowledge of rules for storage of all materials being used in the factory (Including Explosives Rules etc.)
• Knowledge of Central Excise Rules & Procedures including prohibition & Excise regulation for storage, use of alcohol in the factory.

• Job Role

• To lead the operations team of both production units (1 & 2), Maintenance, Warehousing & Logistics, Q.A., QC & R&D, EHS, HR & Administrative activities as well as expansion & new projects at Ranoli
• To be the one-point contact for all other functions in the JAOL group with Ranoli location

• Operations

\xc3\x98 To be completely seized of all activities at the plant level

\xc3\x98 To ensure effective co-ordination between Production Heads, Purchase and the Sales Team at HO for timely deliveries to customers (Production Planning & Scheduling function).

\xc3\x98 To proactively alert Sales team on under utilisation of capacity.

\xc3\x98 To ensure proper management of Logistics so as to ensure timely delivery to the customers without any delay

\xc3\x98 To maximize production capacity & improve productivity

\xc3\x98 To debottleneck problems of the seven departments reporting \xe2\x80\x93 Production (Unit 1 & 2), QA/QC/R&D, HSE, Engg Services & Projects, HR & Admin, Warehousing & Logistics

\xc3\x98 Continuously improve plant set-up in order to maximize productivity and minimize unit cost of production.

\xc3\x98 To ensure \xe2\x80\x98Right People in the Right Place\xe2\x80\x99 to ensure deliverables.

\xc3\x98 To ensure compliance with internal controls, systems & processes

\xc3\x98 Ensure that machineries upkeep and maintenance programme is in place to reduce downtime and support an uninterruptible production.

\xc3\x98 To support continual improvement in integrated management system

• Statutory Compliances

\xc3\x98 To give due importance and independently ensure that plants meets all legal & statutory requirements.

\xc3\x98 Ensure that programs are in place and implemented to achieve health, safety and the environment requirements.

• Managment System

\xc3\x98 To identify team training requirements from time to time & ensure the team is well equipped.

\xc3\x98 To nominate & support MR in the certification of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, 45001 management standards.

\xc3\x98 To ensure that documented Procedures are being followed.

\xc3\x98 To ensure that proper procedures are prepared for proper working of the Factories

\xc3\x98 To ensure that compliance with internal control, systems and process.

\xc3\x98 To be responsible for recruitments & mentoring & training the team

\xc3\x98 To effectively take on operational responsibilities from Mr. Hemant Udeshi

\xc3\x98 Effective planning of all resources for required for manufacturing activities.

\xc3\x98 Efficient plant operations with full capacity utilisation

\xc3\x98 To achieve OTIF targets to meet customer requirements.

\xc3\x98 To ensure high quality of products & minimize incidence of batch rejections & quality issues.

\xc3\x98 To ensure effective Preventive Maintenance to avoid production disruptions and minimize downtime.

\xc3\x98 Ensure cordial & cooperative Industrial Relationship with all employees & contract labourers of the Factory.

\xc3\x98 To ensure timely compliance with all on time, on due date prescribe under those laws
