Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of operations to facilitate business activities The candidate for this position should have experience in the manufacturing / Power industry and having strong understanding of manufacturing. Ensures that Group and local health, safety and environmental guidelines and directives are implemented and understood to ensure safety of people and resources. Maintain Safety and Quality standard in production line. Ensure in process quality checks and skill certification of blue-collar employees. Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating to the employees (blue collar/white collar/contract) Blue collar management for optimum qualitative output. Responsible for Productivity improvement Manages or performs work associated with implementation of improvements in production line. Coordination with cross functional team for timely resolution of any issues as well as implement the best practices. Responsible for 5S, safety for the stores function. Review and implement ABRA & SOP for Production line. Aware about productivity improvement tools. Leading the Lean Light House deployment with factory operations team Responsible for first step of manufacturing to packing and dispatch Qualification: Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering with 5 to 7 years experience in Manufacturing. (Preferred Experience in High Voltage switch gear industry) Knowledge & Skills: Must be familiar with SAP environment and basic experience of tools like lean manufacturing, KANBAN, FIFO. Well versed with MS Office Serve as a change agent within the business where you continually challenge conventional thinking and work to improve culture. Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection, and analytical skills for a complex project Self-motivated and self-organized. Open-mindedness and strong interpersonal skills.
