About the Role

As a

Production Engineer

, you will be the company's

eyes and ears on the factory floor

. Reporting to the Product Operations Manager, you will ensure every product coming off the assembly line meets the company's uncompromising standards of

quality, functionality, and design

.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Production Execution for Assigned Products

Own the end-to-end production lifecycle:

pilot batches ? ramp-up ? mass production

. Ensure complete

line readiness

including fixtures, jigs, tools, manpower, QC plans, and BOM availability. Conduct pre-production reviews and daily readiness checks.

2. Manage On-Ground Issue Resolution

Handle real-time issues: shortages, rework, fixture or tool failures, manpower gaps, and delays. Conduct structured

Root Cause Analyses (RCA)

and close corrective actions. Provide clear, concise daily production updates.

3. Support Cost & Commercial Alignment

Validate factory claims related to manpower, rework, tooling, and capacity. Escalate cost implications of process or quality issues promptly.

Requirements

B.Tech

in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.

2-4 years

hands-on experience running production lines in

consumer electronics or appliances.

Strong technical understanding of assembly, testing processes, fixtures, and tools. Excellent coordination and communication skills; ability to stay calm under operational pressure. Commercially aware with a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. Comfortable working on factory floors and frequent travel during production cycles.
