Company Description Genera Online Pvt. Ltd. is an E-Commerce Marketplace Accelerator that partners with manufacturers to grow their e-commerce reach, revenue, and global footprint. We buy products from brand owners, handle stocking, marketing, sales, and logistics (including shipping), and provide brand owners with insights to help them accelerate their growth. As a full-service e-commerce accelerator, we partner with manufacturers looking to grow their e-commerce reach and revenue but lack the know-how. We work with marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart and are located in Jaipur. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Jaipur for a Product Research Analyst. As a Product Research Analyst, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. You will work cross-functionally with product development, sales, and marketing teams to support product planning and development. Conduct thorough research on various online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc., to identify trends, demand, and competition related to specific product categories. Evaluate the potential of products for online sales by analyzing factors such as market demand, competition, pricing, and profitability. Develop strategies for launching new products into the market, including pricing strategies, target audience identification, and marketing approaches. Monitor and analyze the strategies and performance of competitors selling similar products on different online marketplaces. Collect and analyze data related to consumer preferences, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions. Provide valuable insights to brand owners and internal teams, offering recommendations on product selection, positioning, and marketing strategies. Work closely with brand owners and internal teams to understand their goals, preferences, and product requirements. Identify opportunities for expanding product offerings and market reach, both domestically and internationally. Create and deliver regular reports and presentations summarizing market research findings, product recommendations, and performance insights. Utilize data analytics tools and market research methodologies to guide decision-making processes and optimize product selection and launch strategies. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, e-commerce platforms\' policies, and changes in consumer behavior to adapt strategies accordingly. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field At least 2 years of experience in market research or product analysis Experience with market research tools and techniques, survey design, data analysis, and reporting Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration, and presentation skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail, organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
