Progress Software's Chef business is looking for a Marketing GTM PMO Specialist to play a role in implementing engagement and retention strategies with customers and prospects using scalable channels. Chef, a pioneer in the DevSecOps space, was acquired by Progress in October 2020, and we are excited to continue building market momentum.

As a PMO, you will lead and facilitate all details of program management, including agendas, meetings, project plans, and retrospectives. You may also collaborate primarily with the Product Marketers, Product and Engineering teams for technical approval on messaging and value props. You write copy designed to convey valuable information about a brand, industry, or issue. You will engage the reader and motivate them to take the next step in adopting a product or service.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out project scoping and create clear briefs, to ensure goals are met
  • Create customized, detailed project plans that include tactics, requirements, ownership, timelines, and next steps for launches and hosted events
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure objectives, goals, actions, accountability, and owners with concise communication and documentation.
  • Research relevant industries and their audiences to help craft value props and messaging
  • Identify fresh and compelling angles for website updates.
  • Organize and recommend trends and user/customer feedback to create better website content.
  • Design a solid user experience on our website with experiments to determine the best way to move forward.
Qualifications:
  • 2 to 4 years in business management, organization, go-to-market, or similar roles
  • Must have an online portfolio URL in your resume - demonstrating experience in program management
  • Strong understanding of digital and social platforms, as well as their use within marketing
  • Must have a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Proven ability to work cross-team and synthesize feedback and input from marketing, product management, sales, market research, internal and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to make aggressive deadlines
  • Self-starter who can work independently to solve complex problems
  • Can distill marketing challenges and business goals down into focused creative briefs
  • Can work backward from launch dates to create a timeline for project plans
  • Create briefs and presentations that are shared with internal and external stakeholders and turn them into innovative concepts
