Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
The Oracle Applications Platform team is looking for passionate Product Management leaders who want to be part of revolutionizing Oracle’s cloud application user experiences. As a Product Manager, you will work closely with product management, business stakeholders, customers, and the development team to drive the development of our Oracle Applications Platform solutions. We are developing the next generation of Oracle’s Application Platform – used by all of Oracle’s cloud applications as well as application extensions built by customers and partners. The platform enables creation of modern experiences using the Redwood Design System – with the goal of helping Oracle become the #1 enterprise cloud app vendor in the world. Oracle’s application platform encompasses technologies including UI and componentry, low-code development tooling, search, business objects, telemetry, analytics, intelligent recommendations and more. Responsibilities You will be involved in all phases of the product lifecycle, from researching business problems, making decisions on daily development tasks to release-related activities. You will also be responsible for juggling long-term product priorities and short-term customer needs and defects. As a Product Manager in the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of Product Management experience
• Demonstrated ability using data and metrics to drive decision making
• Demonstrated ability leading by influence
• Demonstrated ability handling multiple initiatives and prioritizing appropriately
• Demonstrated ability presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and experience presenting to senior leadership
• Sound judgement and ability to “read the room”

• Experience with cloud-based products and/or technology
• Experience with AI/ML technologies
• Experience with Instrumentation / Observabiity / Telemetry
