You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of serial entrepreneurs from the tech and biotech worlds along with highly trained, innovative, and dedicated scientists/physicians (Ph.D. in Biology/Genomics and/or MD) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Medical School. : nference is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to focus on Medical Imaging Applications. The Product Manager or Senior Product Manager of Medical Imaging Applications will have extensive experience managing the successful development of end-user software products from concept to launch, leveraging imaging and signal data from multiple modalities, for clinical data science. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of data science and population-scale applications of health data leveraging multiple modalities such as structured text, unstructured text, ECGs, radiology, digital pathology, and genomics. This is a high-visibility position within Nference and will offer opportunities for professional growth and development. Successful candidates will work closely with external partners to ensure customers can successfully achieve data science objectives using the product. This cross-functional position requires close collaboration with senior leadership, commercial teams, software engineers, and clinicians to develop and launch market-ready software solutions that integrate electronic health records and imaging data to offer a seamless developer experience for data scientists. The Product Manager or Senior Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Management. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment - this will require wearing many hats, the ability to change direction quickly, and an eagerness to learn new technologies as needed. This position will be on-site in the Bangalore office of nference. Occasional travels as needed - within and outside India. Responsibilities: Articulate and align internal stakeholders to execute a vision, and build product roadmaps and feature requirements for healthcare software that supports clinical R&D and decision-making. Work collaboratively with stakeholders - engineers, commercial teams, UI/UX designers, and clinicians - to develop, test, troubleshoot, and document these requirements. Establish and adhere to project timelines and deadlines, track and report progress towards go-to-market goals, and prioritize workflows to produce best-in-class solutions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as research, marketing, commercial, and sales teams, to accurately address end-user needs. Prioritize product features and capabilities with input and direction from the commercial team based on customer needs, market conditions, and competitive analyses. Required Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience in software product management in the medical imaging domain and relevant experience as a Product Manager. Candidates with deep experience in the medical imaging domain as a software developer, data scientist, clinical expert, sales/marketing, or other allied functions are also encouraged to apply Experience with healthcare software, interfacing with radiology and DICOM standards, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Good understanding and/or experience of data science and deep learning concepts, covering the AI development life cycle from data curation, annotation, development, and validation Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills; passion for creativity Experience articulating your vision across the organization and inspiring others to execute. Capable of building product requirements in collaboration with engineering, scientific, and clinical teams, and seeing through execution, including roadmap, sprints, test, validate, and release (including feature briefs, presentations, technical and feature documentation, release notes, user manuals, etc.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid attention to detail. Basic programming experience with an ability to write Python and SQL is preferred Experience working in a matrixed team structure (engineering, scientific, clinical, commercial), influencing across product areas/groups, and developing/delivering product roadmaps.
