Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Product Manager to lead our rice division within our seeds company. The Product Manager for Rice will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our rice product line, from product development and market introduction to sales and customer support. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the rice industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategies that align with our company\'s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Strategy and Development:

- Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our rice product line, considering market trends, customer needs, and business goals.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, marketing, and production to drive the development of new rice varieties and traits.

Market Analysis:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify customer preferences, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in the rice industry.

- Use market insights to refine product positioning and differentiate our rice offerings.

Product Launch and Marketing:

- Plan and execute successful product launches, including creating marketing collateral, promotional campaigns, and sales training materials.

- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure effective communication of product benefits to customers.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

- Collaborate with the sales team to set sales targets, pricing strategies, and distribution plans for the rice product line.

- Monitor sales performance and take proactive measures to achieve revenue goals.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Engage with key customers, dealers, and distributors to gather feedback and insights on product performance and market demands.

- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Product Performance Analysis:

- Continuously monitor the performance of rice products in the market, tracking sales, customer feedback, and market share.

- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make informed decisions to enhance product offerings.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay informed about relevant regulations, certifications, and quality standards in the rice industry.

- Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements and maintain necessary documentation.

Team Collaboration :

- Collaborate with internal teams to align product strategies with broader company goals and objectives.

- Provide training and support to sales and marketing teams to enhance their understanding of rice products.

Qualifications and Requirements :

- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a. Sales or Marketing or Product Manager, preferably in the agricultural or seeds industry, with a focus on rice.

- In-depth knowledge of rice varieties, agronomic practices, and market dynamics.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

- Proficiency in market research and data analysis.

- Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards in the agriculture industry.

- Willingness to travel as required to interact with customers and attend industry events.
