What would you do? To administer the product & SKU data within Streamline change requests for the Lubricants SPU businesses and provide a quality review to ensure compliance with data integrity standards. To provide support and process expertise to users of the Streamline & Fusion systems & databases. To provide SME support to large projects and support Streamline and wider Product Lifecycle Management improvement projects as required. Support the marketing team with initiating marketing owned streamline requests - except for labelling and PDS requests. Support supply chain with initiating complex source change requests Ensure that requests initiated are in line with the Portfolio Rules of the Game and have accurate & complete information to support subsequent stages within the process Optimise streamline requests to ensure appropriate sequence and/or aggregation of requests to reduce effort and possible data inconsistencies emerging from too many & frequent changes to the same product card
What are we looking for? o Ability to co-ordinate a number of complex issues at the same time whilst meeting agreed deadlines o Ability to form good business relationships and communicate well at all levels across the various businesses and functions o The candidate needs to have an eye for detail, to ensure every change is accurate and compliant to internal, and external regulatory standards o Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders to ensure required standards are met o Experienced in working with defined processes and systems o Demonstrated planning and / or performance management ability o The job holder should be an articulate, clear speaker and a concise & precise written communicator - able to be understood by BP colleagues for whom English is not the first language o Good IT skills and competent in MS office applications Education: o University degree in Science / Marketing / Project Management discipline or 3 to 5 years equivalent experience Skills & Competencies: Core Skills: o Product Lifecycle Management principles and application- Skilful o Structured Problem Solving: Skilful o Project Management: Basic o Training and Coaching - Basic Quality Assurance o Product End Use: Awareness o Product Manufacture and Distribution: Awareness o Quality Control: Awareness o Quality Tools, Systems and Process Learning: Basic. o Understanding of Quality Assurance: Basic
Roles and Responsibilities: o Maintain the Streamline request form with appropriate picklists (to match with Streamline) o Receive and review Streamline request forms from an approved set of Request Owners o Review data in the request form for completeness, accuracy and compliance with the Portfolio Rules of The Game o Liaise with Request Owner in case of discrepancies in the request form to update the request within guidelines where possible OR reject when request owners are unwilling to change/provide adequate information. Clearly document and escalate all rejections to Team Leader. o Redirect requests from other sources to relevant Request Owners for screening and support o Add request to validated list for evaluating optimisation/aggregation opportunities and appropriate sequencing for requests received o Initiate allocated requests & add into appropriate workbook(s) where applicable within agreed timelines o Highlight problem requests in Initiator team meeting - for potential escalation by TL o When allocated to specific projects, provide guidance on streamline request types, timings, information requirement (including mapping files) and initiate streamline requests when ready o Progress Streamline requests as they arrive in the PLA inbox in a timely manner. Ensuring that the resultant information held in Fusion is complete, consistent and accurate. o Liaise with labelling team and other SME's within the business as required to gather relevant information o Provide training, support and advice to Streamline & Fusion users and approvers of Streamline requests. o Identify data inconsistencies within existing product & SKU data, working with the relevant business to ensure product data integrity
