Summary: Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product\xe2\x80\x99s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.

Duties & Responsibilities:
JD for SME - Transport:

• 
  MUST: Hands-on Experience in Basic IP Operations from TELECOM industry in one or more of the following Planning, Designing, Implementation, Commissioning, Provisioning, Troubleshooting, Operation & Maintenance of Access, Distribution and Metro-Core Network area.
• 
  Must have knowledge in SDH, DWDM, PTN(Packet Transport Network), Microwave & FTTH with multi vendor exposure is more preferable.

• 
  Knowledge on Active / Passive Topologies , Protection Mechanisms , OTN/DWDM Layers & MPLS Layer(Basics).
• 
  Excellent knowledge on Mobile Network KPIs (Core, Transport) and formulas
• 
  Experience on technology evolutions 2G/3G/4G with traffic flow understandings.
• 
  Knowledge on SNMP(V2c,V3) concept and troubleshooting.
• 
  Domain knowledge, preferably within a telecom company, system integrator, or global telecom product supplier.
• 
  Must have strong hands-on experience in NOC operations in multi-vendor & multi-layer environments related to Incident, Change & Performance Management functionalities.
• 
  Strong Communication
• 
  A telecom domain technical knowledge on traditional IP networks and systems as well as Satellite Communications, Optical/Radio links, Wireless, Mobile Radio, Microwave, Fiber Optics, Firewall, Cyber security will be an added advantage.

REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• 
  Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics & Telecommunications, Information Technology or equivalent
• 
  5-7 Years experience in Telecom Industry (Transport-Microwave, SDH, WDM)
• 
  Automation & inventory management tool experience
• 
  Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot Network Problems
• 
  Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.
• 
  Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
• 
  Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Dependable and flexible when necessary.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• 
  Experience in OS like Linux, Solaris, Open stack
• 
  Shell scripting + SQL scripting, unix shell + some windows-based programming will be an added advantage.
• 
  Basic understanding of NFV, VM, APM, Hypervisors.
