Key missions of the position:

  • Ensure that Product / Customer Quality
  • Ensure Implementation of relevant clause requirements of WMS & IMS / IRIS

Main responsibilities:
  • Ensure that Design Standards are respected, Critical characteristics identified & defined in PFMEA & control plans and respected.
  • Ensure Preparation of Inspection & Testing Plan (Assembly & Testing Check sheets) for new product development
  • Ensuring new production process validation, Internal FAI, track closure of open points, if any prior Customer FAI.
  • Update the applicable Quality documentation (Assembly & Testing Check sheets) & initiate Internal FAI following a product or process related changes inline with ECR / PCR.
  • Represent Customer within Faiveley on Quality matters (communication/Escalation)
  • Initiate Plant QRQCs in the case of customer complaints (due to design, product, process failures)
  • Co-ordinate plant QRQC to resolve customer complaints.
  • Review primary failure report shared by field team & recommend RR request for further approval.
  • Maintain RR & SGRN log for tracking of replacement parts & conduct basic analysis of failure.
  • Create MCO for rework and testing of filed returned parts.
  • Complete documentation & co-ordinate with SCM / Finance to invoice RR parts.
  • Conduct investigation of field returned parts & make FAR/8D report.
  • MCO closing, take approval from management & finance to shift stock from HPB to HPA location.
  • SGNR parts scrap note generation and approval to dispose.
  • Perform Process, Special process , WI & ROP product audits as per plan, verify customer issue CAPA sustenance online.
  • Ensuring the implementation of assigned activities under Quality WMS, as applicable
  • Ensure monitoring & Implementation of ECO/DRC.
  • Visit to customer site to get feedback on product, WR /0km issue Analysis / Joint note sign-off as per plan/requirement. Maintain OPL and track for closure.
  • Participate in Quality & VA/VE projects.
  • Responsible for achievement of target sets for the area responsible
  • Provided with authority to stop a manufacturing / assembly line in any situation where Standards are not respected or a safety or quality risk for the operator or for the customer has been detected
  • Clearing Quality wall as per the Norms with 2 working days
  • Ensure PDI clearance and moving to FG area
  • Authorization of clearing Picking list for invoicing
  • Handling customer complaints and sending RCA
  • Attending virtual meetings with SISCO & IR customers

Education :
Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
8 -10 years in Quality Assurance
Key Competences:
Computer Knowledge

PDI and Customer inspection module
Project Management, PFMEA, Control Plan
