Job Purpose
At Quorum Software, our Product Analysts don’t just write requirements. These highly motivated, hardworking individuals solve complex problems through cross-functional collaboration. As a Product Analyst, you will work closely with Product Owners to coordinate development of new product offerings and updates to existing products. You will be the bridge between Product Management and Engineering, as you work to advance the product vision.
What You Will Do:

  • Work with Product Management to understand business requirements and business value in order to write user stories and acceptance criteria/technical criteria to be consumed by developers throughout the release cycle
  • Collaborate on project management and coordination/deployment of software releases
  • Assist/guide developers on tasks during iteration with clarification of requirements/acceptance criteria
  • Review test plans for complete coverage of requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to develop plans and execute plans with frequent updates on progress and risks
  • Go beyond technical requirements to understand why and how a system operates
  • Help Product Owners articulate business problems and the product vision
  • Participate in work planning sessions and software demonstrations
  • Support a cross-functional team, including the Product Owner, to improve velocity and eliminate blocking issues quickly
  • Conduct internal reviews of final products prior to release to ensure complete functionality and fitness for delivery
  • Create project documentation to include user documentation, training deliverables, business requirements, test scripts, and work product validation
  • And other duties as assigned.

What to Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Oil & Gas experience preferred
  • Experience with detailed software analysis and planning
  • Proven ability to convert user requirements to user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Ability to understand technical requirements in order to translate into tasks for developers
  • Excellent communication skills to include internal/external interaction, documentation and presentations
  • Understanding of various software applications and/or methodologies (Agile and Scrum)
  • Proven ability to self-manage, complete project deliverables, and meet deadlines

  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
