This position reports functionally directly to the Global Source to Pay (S2P) Transformation Director in India and will engage with all business stakeholders to drive service performance, further develop our service offering and ensure that BCG continues to realize value from, and in partnership with its supply chain.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

The Operations Excellence Senior Manager will deliver operations best practices and continuous
improvement to achieve outstanding service excellence, operational performance and control
throughout the Source to Pay (S2P) process. They will lead a team of specialists in operations and
process design, and will also work with specialists in data, policy and systems to implement by
best-in-class capabilities. To perform the role effectively, you will need to:

• Enable the deployment and continuous improvement of the future state bionic S2P processes through the application of leading operations excellence and best practices.
• Achieve the optimal customer experience, operational performance and enhanced controls to deliver high performance business outcomes and ROI.
• Design and implement end-to-end business process, identifying areas of improvement and implementing the necessary change management in conjunction with the S2P stakeholders.
• Leverage the digital and data environment to operationalize the bionic S2P process, partnering with Data, Business Intelligence & Analytics and S2P Squad.
• As part of the Operational Excellence leadership team, guide and implement the strategy of the developing global service center for all S2P operations fostering strong partnerships with Global Procurement, Finance and Enterprise Services.
• Influence confidently across functions and geographies to gain alignment, drive change and embed process improvement.
• Effectively prioritize work assignments and allocating resources while meeting stakeholder expectations, establishing and adjusting priorities in an agile environment.
• Ensure internal resource levels are appropriate to meet quality, cost effectiveness and timeliness of work associated with assigned responsibilities.
• Provide leadership through evaluation and development/coaching/mentoring and motivation across the team.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• 
  Minimum of 15 years in a global operations management role driving change and operational excellence in a service focused and manufacturing environment mandatorily in Sourcing, Procurement and Accounts Payable operations
• Expertise in program management methodologies, process, and tools, lean/six-sigma/bb, 5s, kaizen certification is a plus
• In-depth knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes, organization and technologies required
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant IT systems including ERP, Source-to-pay, Contract Management and Service Management tools. (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Service Now etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and operations diligence, able to analyse processes, information and data in detail to identify solutions
• Experience in working at all levels of a global organization and across geographical markets
• Excellent listening, written and verbal customer communication and relationship management skills
• Experience in key transformation project delivery to drive change in a global, matrixed organization with minimum supervision to tight time lines, risks & issues, key milestones
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering (or other related degree programs), MBA preferred
• Good proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

YOU'LL WORK WITH

BCG spends ~$1.6B on goods and services across the firm globally. At its core, Procurement is accountable for ensuring that BCG is supplied with goods and services that meet business requirements, drive value and at best whole life cost to BCG.

The functional procurement team at BCG is a healthy, yet nascent operating function that has generated material savings to BCG over the past 5 years. Over the past 18 months, we have embarked upon a procurement transformation to define and implement strategies, organization, systems, and policies to create a sustainable operating model. This model should maximize value from our suppliers, mitigate risk and meet savings targets. BCG is a highly matrixed firm where purchasing decisions are often taken at the local level, therefore this transformation will need to be carried out with elevated levels of stakeholder engagement, alignment, and collaboration.

The BCG Global Procurement function is currently made up of more than 45 procurement professionals located in London, Stockholm, New Delhi, Boston, and Munich.

Scope of work will be global, regional as well as local, requiring procurement experience, relationship building, sell-in capabilities and sensitivity to local requirements. The individual taking on this challenge must possess an extremely elevated level of self-motivation/drive, persistence, resourcefulness, and a willingness to facilitate change.
