Come join our growing Finance team in our Mumbai Centre of Excellence (CENX)!

The role reports to the Head of Finance for the CENX, who is based in London. The role is focused on establishing a Procurement capability at YouGov.

The role will work alongside the Accounts Payable Team, looking to build on the AP processes that have recently transitioned from regional Finance Teams across the world to our Shared Service Centre in Mumbai over the last year.

• Establishing a Procurement capability at YouGov
• Managing stakeholders both internal and external, getting involved in Procurement decisions to maximise value for money
• Running the Procurement process globally; across

20 geographies including the Americas, UK, Europe, MENA and APAC

• Designing and implementing process improvements such as effective controls and tender processes to improve stakeholder outcomes and efficiencies
• Rationalising the number of suppliers in use across YouGov
• Performing analysis and implementing improvement projects to ensure we maintain great relationships with our suppliers
• Collaborate Regional teams and the business on buying decisions, supporting and being involved with supplier negotiations
• Defining and reporting key performance indicators for Procurement
• Mitigating fraud risks arising from phishing emails & fake invoices

Knowledge and experience

• At least 5 years of Procurement experience
• Experience running or establishing Procurement processes and influencing procurement decisions / negotiating with suppliers
• Evidence of strong communication skills, written and spoken
• Strong service orientation/responsiveness
• Good Excel skills
• Experience working in a finance shared service team. (Preferred)
• Using Lean Six Sigma or similar techniques to improve financial processes (Preferred)
• Experience in presenting data analytically (e.g. through Power BI). (Preferred)
• Previous experience of using NetSuite (Preferred)

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience
