Job Title: Procurement Head

Job Location: Hyderabad

Qualification: - Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field; Master\'s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is preferred.

Job Summary: As the Purchase & Procurement Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the procurement process within the organization. Your role will involve strategic planning, supplier management, contract negotiation, cost analysis, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality standards. You will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and optimize purchasing activities to support the company\'s goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

2. Lead the procurement team in sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best terms and conditions, including price, quality, delivery, and service level agreements.

3. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure a reliable and diverse supply chain, while evaluating their performance regularly.

4. Analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvements.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and inventory management, to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks.

6. Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations, ethical standards, and best practices.

7. Oversee the preparation and evaluation of procurement contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.

8. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and on-time delivery, and take corrective actions as needed.

9. Mentor, coach, and develop procurement staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.

10. Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field; Master\'s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is preferred.

- Proven experience (20 + years) in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management, with a track record of success in strategic sourcing and cost optimization.

- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.

- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to procurement and contracting.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

- The position typically operates in an office environment, but may require occasional travel to meet with suppliers, attend conferences, or visit production facilities.
