The role

What's the role like?

A mature supply chain professional with 0-5 years of experience in supplier chain management/ Procurement/ Accounts Payable. Exposure in the Software industry would be an additional asset.

Source to Pay is primarily a transactional business, associated with stiff SLA's. Candidate should be comfortable with this robust set-up of adhering to stringent deadlines.

What would be your key Responsibilities?

• Daily internal customer engagement
• Fast & accurate information dissemination to internal customer
• Work closely with the local BDR
• Helping with licensing queries and providing adequate information
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with internal customer, manufacturers/ suppliers
• Managing customer Information
• Maintain Deal Registration for this Sales Stage
• Responsible for organizing quotes from manufacturers/suppliers.
• Responsible for negotiations with manufacturers/suppliers.
• Research to find all relevant information required to complete tasks.
• Communicates in a timely and effective manner via emails, reports and reminders
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Supports requests from customers, partners, sales reps, and other operations team members
• Responsible for supporting and fulfilling all procurement needs for team.
• Performs other duties as assigned by SoftwareONE management
• Should be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while completing work within allocated time frames as individual contributor in the process.
• Committed to applying best practices in everyday work.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to meet procurement objectives.

• Analyze market and delivery trends so as to develop procurement technologies and processes that support those trends
• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review supplies, works and services to ensure compliance with company procedures and best procurement practice
• Interact with key stakeholders in identifying business needs, building relationships and selling the features and benefits of early procurement involvement.
• Develop detailed sourcing and category plans to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
• Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes.
• Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices
• Solid computer skills (proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and experience with an ERP system (Navision is preferred)
