The new SEAM organization integrates Safety, Environment & Asset Management activities, with a broad geographical footprint, that will support Shell\'s business & assets around the world. The vision of SEAM is to provide capability across the spectrum of Safety, Environment and Asset Management with: shaping the future ways of working through introducing to the business new technology and news way of working, including e.g. digital, SBO, and real-time, data-driven, end-to-end optimization and risk management, but also global programmes like Human Performance Based Safety Philosophy. providing performance feedback driving disciplined execution to deliver reliable, predictable results helping the businesses build their improvement plans and provide support to execute them sustaining performance through strong core capabilities (internal, including SBO & contingent) through building expertise and a company-wide consistent approach This role will primarily lead existing or new complex projects covering various disciplines under Subsurface. This role demands to manage expectations and ambitions of the business to deliver high quality service broad range of asset stakeholders and interfaces, both in the business and within SBO teams. This role also supports TAO Subsurface team to maintain the global integrity for SS&WRFM (Subsurface & WRFM) data assurance processes, controls, performance measures and compliance. This role would be a key interface between the TAO Data operations (SSW) team and Upstream Development teams and other relevant technical communities. The VP TAO will be accountable for maximizing integrated business value across the organization. Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell\'s Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes. Managing business engagements with various stakeholders Proactively engage for new business projects and develop plans for resourcing, timeline, budget, risk and change management Assess the demand and actively work on talent attraction / recruitments and staff retention Play a pivotal role in the development and growth of frontline staff Ensure Quality of Operations Reporting and Data Integrity. Track the quality of deliverables within the agreed cost and timeline and resolve if any quality issues / complaints raised by stakeholders in a satisfactory & timely manner Manage and follow-up on operational issues, performance metrics, and determine root cause of the problems and implement sustainable corrective action Increase collaboration within TAO and with other processes under Upstream, IGNE and P&T organizations Champion in Continuous Improvement (CI) implementation and ensure benefits delivery Proactively liaise with TAO D&C LT and business partners in driving \'aggregation, optimization and automation\' This role will support multiple line of business covering Subsurface disciplines Manage Expectations and ambitions of the business to deliver high quality and by following TAO Quality management Framework broad range of asset stakeholders and interfaces, both in the business and within SBO teams Global communication and teamwork across departmental boundaries are key to a successful completion of tasks A degree in Geoscience/Petroleum engineering or any relevant field Strong aptitude for Learner Mindset Flexibility to move quickly across changing priorities and manage multiple Projects/Programmes Expertise in Subsurface studies, Technical data management and Workflow consulting with adequate discipline knowledge in Petrophysics, Geophysics and Oil & Gas industry data life cycle is essential Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions Flexibility to move quickly across changing priorities and manage multiple Projects/Programmes Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions Demonstrated professional competence, and proven ability in problem solving, leadership and people management. A good understanding of the Upstream/DS/IG business and how it works. Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside Shell and within different cultural settings.
