  • The role is to support WPB Ops Transformation Program, which is one of the largest transformation program across HSBC, working closely with Ops business services, line of business, IT, digital to support the streamline opportunities requested by different stakeholders.
  • The role extends in understanding business and customer requirements, process improvement models, operating models and designing solutions/options whilst ensuring optimum functional alignment delivering and quantifying improvement benefits.
  • The Process Consultant also supports change and champions continuous performance improvement across various Global Business lines, mainly for the priority markets.
  • The job holder will be providing support to wide variety of internal engagements.
The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role)
  • Work with the businesses as a delivery partner to develop objectives and quantitative recommendations.
  • Identify and recommend innovative solutions that consider and include suitable appropriate emerging improvement trends and solutions.
  • Working across markets and WPB TP Program teams to ensure commonality of understanding and objectives and raising to manager attention in a timely manner when conflict arises
What you’ll do: (List out Key Responsibilities)
  • The role requires consultant to lead process discovery, conduct deep dive for opportunity assessment, conceptualize solutions with different stakeholders, execute and deliver benefit.
  • The consultant need to partner with stakeholders to identify and ensure commercially based decisions are taken on prioritizing and optimizing the project portfolio.
  • Supporting relevant Continuous improvement/ LSS training curriculum across Operational Transformation and Operational Excellence journey

Requirements
What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)
  • To deliver the Optimus transformation program by focusing on the globally directed projects and initiatives, through identifying opportunities and designing, implementing, delivering & embedding the change to the relevant processes. To be responsible for leading small/medium scale transformation and re-engineering projects & initiatives or supporting Senior Process Consultants in managing a large transformation program. In both cases, to deliver an agreed set of business objectives / benefits and to meet the overlying portfolio strategy in Consumer Operations Transformation.
  • For specific functional areas, deliver step change in operational performance (cost, service levels, and customer satisfaction) through identification and successful initiation of new process improvement initiatives aligned with local/regional transformation initiatives.
  • Build trusted partnerships with internal customers through consistent identification and delivery of value-added consultancy services that exceed expectations and position the transformation program for sustained success.
  • Be knowledgeable of key business drivers and customers, competitors, and emerging trends in the industry landscape.
  • Facilitate training forums within internal teams and nurture a culture of continuous learning.
  • Problem solving mindset to support Ops business services pain areas
  • Collaboration with different teams to conceptualize solutions
  • Flexibility in approach to engage with broader organization team
  • Learning attitude to understand the new technology and impact on ops processes
