Job Description

Appium, RestAssured, Test NGKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute automated tests for mobile applications using Appium, Cucumber, and Java.Maintain and enhance the mobile test automation framework to support ongoing testing needs.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand application features and testing requirements.Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts aligned with BDD practices.Analyze test results, identify bugs, and ensure timely resolution through issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).Ensure application quality and performance through regression testing, functional testing, and UI validation.Contribute to best practices in test automation and quality assurance.Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in mobile test automation using Appium.Strong knowledge and experience in BDD frameworks, especially Cucumber.Proficient in Java programming language for writing automation scripts.Experience testing native and hybrid mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms.Familiarity with mobile device emulators, simulators, and real device testing.Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.Experience with version control tools like Git.Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Nice to Have:Experience with TestNG or JUnit.Familiarity with API testing (e.g., using Postman, RestAssured).Experience with cloud device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).Knowledge of mobile app build tools (e.g., Gradle, Xcode).3 must havesMobile Automation 4/5Appium 4/5BDD 3/5
