This exciting role offers opportunity to:

• The Principle Engineer will primarily work as part of the product development team providing the Hardware Platform for different vertical product lines.
• This person will have experience of designing product using calculations or simulations to predict performance.
• This person will also work with cross functional team to measure and test the performance of designs. Launch the product.
• Design Industrial Electronic products for applications in Process Industries and Industrial loops.
• Help the team modularise electronics product development
• Conversant with DfX methodologies and help the team imbibe DfC (Design for Cost), DfP (Design for Procurement), DfA (Design for Assembly), DfM (Design for Manufacturing), DfT (Design for Testing), DfR (Design for Reliability), DfS (Design for Sustainability), DfQ (Design for Quality)
• Conduct design reviews for multi-geography product development cycles with Global Design Leaders
• Understanding of standards BS EN, UL, BASEEFA, ATEX added value.
• Bring in best practice from other parts of the company and from outside the company to avoid unnecessary learning cycles.
• Work closely with multiple teams and groups including Product Development, Project Management, Sourcing, Product Marketing and Quality Assurance, etc
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and qualify products to meet specification, reliability and regulatory

• Bachelor of Engineering- Electronics (& Communication or Electrical).
• Overall working experience of 12 - 15 years
• Relevant - Core domain experience of 9 to 12 years

• Possesses strong skills in Analog and Digital electronics.
• Analyze design with SPICE simulation and calculation.
• Having writing skill to prepare test report and documentation.
• Exposure in Component Engineering.
• Good understanding of EMI/EMC and their impact on hardware is mandatory.
• Testing skills to meet functional and environmental requirement.
• Capable to redesign and start from scratch to deliver quality product to Market.
• Technical and Team leadership skill
