Where do you come into the picture?

You will come in as a team member of our constantly growing Technology team in India. As a software engineer you will be working with corporates, businesses and banks, oriented product by improving product features based on client needs. You will need to be collaborative as a team member and always be willing to share the knowledge with colleagues. You're unafraid to ask for a help if needed because we have many bright minds here. You take our applications, platform & products to next level scalability by writing clean, simple and maintainable code - you will be actively mentoring and reviewing young tech talent in our teams to do so to! Curiosity and constant learning are a mainstay of your personal code!

Also, where else would you get to work on cool stuff like - moving from Monolithic to pure Micro-services, API orchestration, Kubernetes for CI/CD with AWS, Dockerized deployments.

Core engineering: Rule Engine(s), state machines; data structures, structured & un-structured databases, algorithmic solution designing & implementation, etc

Backend & FRONTEND frameworks: nodeJS express, Java SpringBoot, molecular [node, ES6, typescript], ReactJS, VueJS, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostGreSQL, MongoDB, Sonarqube, Liquibase, swagger

What would a day in your life @ Nium look like?

• You will write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• You will be building secured backend APIs to be consumed by multiple applications (e.g. web and mobile)
• You will constantly be collaborating with team member and help colleagues
• You will be actively participate in architectural decision making
• You will use every possible opportunity to share your own professional experience with your team members
• You will look to optimize applications for performance and scalability.

• You would have 6+ years software development experience
• Fintech experience is a Must - Mobile wallets, payments software with deep understanding of Reconciliation, Ledger concepts
• Your skills & experience writing node.js code in production are rock solid!
• Solid technical problem solving skills, with competency in using Data Structures and Algorithms efficiently
• Deep understanding of GIT, Express.js, message queues, SQL and MongoDB
• Proficient in profiling, debugging & troubleshooting Node.js
• Solid communication skills - verbal as well as written.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering
