Develop and maintain state-of-art functional testing tools and infrastructures supporting software development in Institutional Trade Processing. Highly technical position with an emphasis on providing expert consultative services to development teams. In charge of knowledge capital development efforts. Contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, reuse, extensibility, usability and scalability; expertise on significant application components, vendor products, program languages, databases, and operating systems; execute on the plan by building components, testing, configuring, tuning, and deploying solutions. Work with Leadership to assess project scope and provide estimates for project timelines and cost feasibility as necessary.

Your responsibility:

• Translates business requirements into software designs and implementations
• Drives thorough code reviews with a goal of illustrating quality engineering practices and to produce the highest quality code possible
• Builds high quality and scalable functional test tools and infrastructures for all Agile development teams
• Understands requirements and translates them into specifications and acceptances criteria
• Designs frameworks that promote concepts of isolation, extensibility and reusability.
• Provides technical support to Agile development teams in their testing operations

Talent needed for success:

• 8+ years\' experience in application development and system analysis, with hands-on experience on code integration/packaging/deployment
• Thorough understanding of the middleware and message protocols
• Through understanding of at least one Unit Test frameworks, such as TestNG, Junit
• Expert in Java/ JEE and coding best practices (Spring, Springboot, multithreading, microservices)
• Expert in development concepts. Good design and coding skills in Web Services, Spring, Soap/Rest APIs
• Previous experiences in leading a back-end development team is a big plus
• Experiences on Cloud technology, preferably OpenShift, is a big plus
• Experiences on Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipelines, preferably with Jenkins, is a big plus

About the Team:

To maintain strong alignment between IT and the business, we are bringing together all Solutions-focused teams under a unified technology organization, IT Solutions. The newly-formed IT Solutions department combines Application Development and Enterprise Application Support functions, allowing us to leverage synergies to support the Solutions business lines.
