General Description of Role:
Works independently designing and developing complex new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Acts as technical expert addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility and on multiple platforms. Turns into a knowledge resource on multiple projects/initiatives across the company. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. May complete or review documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interface with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Operates with broad latitude for unreviewed actions and decisions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.

Job Requirements

Roles / Responsibilities / Duties

• This is a hands-on, highly technical position for someone who can dive-deep and yet think longterm, architecting/designing solutions that are strategically aligned, yet tactically executable.
• Organized, goal/delivery focused, with proven ability to participate in multiple projects in a fastpaced dynamic and evolving environment with changing priorities.
• Provide software design and solutions with necessary artifacts such as system architecture diagrams, design documents, and design walk-thru to various stake holders.
• Provides architectural guidance, directions, and supports local and global development teams.
• Collaborates and works closely with global and co-located architects, developers and product.
• Work with business partners to translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
• Interface with customers to understand system/architectural requirements, as required.
• Collaborate with peer organizations, architects across global teams, to produce cutting-edge software business solutions
• Mentors developers for code reviews, design principles, design patterns implementations.
• Bring best practices, enterprise standards, microservices architecture mindset, API implementation methodologies to the product technology stack.
• Ability to exercise discretion, independent judgement aligned to organization/company direction.
• Have passion and intertest to be part of a “One Architecture Team” paradigm, one that establishes and embraces consistent Product/System Patterns, ensures high-quality results, and provides for cross-team collaboration and engagement via logic-based consensus establishment.
• Strategizes, architects, designs and supports realization of company/organizational objectives.
• Ensures high-quality, realistic, timely, accurate, and detailed architectures with production of consistent technical artifacts, aligned to industry, organizational and company standards.
• Has proven ability to architect systems which are stable, fault-tolerant, high-performant, well instrumented, compliant and ‘Always On’ – in high transactional global distributed environments.
• Is highly ethical, has very high moral standards, shows mutual respect, works well across global teams, sharing knowledge, is an excellent team player within and outside the immediate teams.

Skills & Competencies

• Candidate must have great communication (oral and written) skills and be very technical and be able to clearly articulate thoughts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Possess exceptional hands-on skills on Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, RDBMS, NoSQL, OOAD.
• Possess exceptional knowledge and hands-on experience with SOAP, REST, RESTful, JSON-RPC, JMS, SOA/EDA and Microservices Architecture, client-server and distributed systems, Enterprise Integration methodology and standards.
• Must have exposure to Design Patterns, Software Architecture best practices, and Agile SDLC, build & deployment tools and CI / CD practices.
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and cloud migration strategy.
• Highly motivated individual, team player, a keen understanding of business needs and act as a strong liaison between business and technical staff.
• Possess strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Travel industry experience is a plus

Educational Qualification and Job Requirements
MS / MTech, BE / BTech with computer science or any related streams
12+ years of Software development experience
5+ years of solutioning and software designing experience
