• Lead and execute NetSecOps initiatives to ensure that the CH Global Network Platform is easily consumable by products and solutions that are built on top and simultaneously compliant with CH technology architecture standards and security policies
• Implement governance and controls to monitor and manage consumption
• Implement and publish APIs for clients to consume network services in a consistent way. Work with product owners and engineering to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and implement features based on service line demand, industry trends, known defects, and issues
• Architect and implement tools to deploy, monitor, and administer virtual and physical networking appliances, applications and the underlying services for converged network services
• Build and expand converged network deployment automation and standardization using Infrastructure as code (IaC) and other configuration technologies such as Python, Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, CloudFormation & ARM templates
• Architect and implement NetDevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps (VSTS), Jenkins and Chef. Ensure re-use through consumption and expansion of shared platform technology assets
• Work with DevSecOps and Solution Design peers in the Consumer Health Technology ecosystem and define implementation roadmap and scope sprints to deliver faster business outcomes
• Build internal, external and third-party supplier relationships to ensure full commitment and support in execution of the architecture into operational designs
• Provide subject matter expertise to implementation and operational teams to guide deployment and in-life troubleshooting of converged networking and security services
• Collect, collate, analyse, develop and agree automation and orchestration requirements across Edge and Cloud (including infrastructure, security, systems, process and service) relating to existing business capabilities, new capabilities, future capabilities and create the appropriate solution design roadmap to meet those requirements
• Work across Enterprise Architecture, Service Delivery, Service Management, Product and Engineering to define the specifications and perform impact assessments ensuring a collaborative approach and consensus agreement of the performance and customer experience parameters for network automation and orchestration
• Participate in discussions with the business to influence upstream and downstream product/application design and offerings, IT infrastructure standardisation and related non-functional requirements.
• Document, Publish and Maintain integration architectures for NetOps systems entities and their interfaces
• Provide subject matter expertise to guide the definition and execution of converged networking solutions
• Maintain a feedback loop between component design teams, Digital Operations and Enterprise Architecture
• Participate in development/engineering team scrums or other agile models and provide guidance as network automation and orchestration solution owner and as technical stakeholder
• Quality assurance of designs and templates through adoption of industry best practices

• Requires detailed network architecture, integration, optimisation, standards (IETF, ITU, IEEE, ETSI, TMF, NIST and BIPM) knowledge and expertise across all 7 layers of the OSI stack with the ability to employ in both physical and virtual contexts
• Deep understanding of cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options in more than one cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) etc.
• Deep experience in IaaS (with good fundamentals in compute, storage, networks and security) as well as PaaS and SaaS.
• Practitioner understanding of Azure networking (VNet, NVAs, Expressroute etc) and or cloud networking constructs of GCP or AWS (VPCs, Direct Connect etc.)
• Deep understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security architecture and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc.
• Strong expertise in Automation, IaC and Configuration management tools: Python, Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, CloudFormation & ARM templates
• Good awareness of DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and tools like Azure DevOps (VSTS), Jira, knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Requires detailed understanding of linkages between architecture and the accumulation of technical debt that affect the strategic intent
• Needs to be highly analytical and comfortable operating across the business
• Strong presentation skills (written and oral), capable of articulating complex ideas with authority and making the case for adoption in simple language with the ability to present a high-level vision and story as well as the detailed analysis to underpin it. Must be experienced presenting to senior stakeholders
• Strong team player, needs to influence and lead across the business
• Distinguished Engineer level credibility with hands-on experience within a Systems Integrator, Service Provider, Network Technology Vendor or Multi-National Corporation (MNC)
• 15+ years’ experience in network systems design and enterprise cloud technology adoption in multi-vendor and or multi-MSP production environments
• In depth knowledge in networks and the supporting ecosystem, experienced in engaging on network topics at all levels internally and externally:
• Traditional – IP/MPLS, Internet (DIA|BIA), 4G/LTE FWA, xDSL|DOCSIS, Ethernet, WDM, Remote Access, LAN (fixed and Wireless), IPSec, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Web Proxies, WAN Optimisation, DDI and Telephony
• Next-generation – NFV, SDN, SD-WAN, EVPN, L2VPN, L3VPN, CLOS fabrics, Cloud Networking, Cloud Exchanges, ZTNA, CASB, Cloud based Firewall/proxy Services, NGFW and Unified Communications
• Tooling – Active and Passive Instrumentation, Application Aware Network Performance Monitoring & Diagnostics, Application Performance Monitoring
• OSS – Catalogue driven Orchestration, automation, Intent Based Networking (IBN), IaC tools and Experience API integrations
• Virtual Infrastructure – Kubernetes, Docker, Openstack, LXC and VMWare
• Experience in consulting and workshop facilitation to derive customer requirements
