Role Summary

Minimum requirements:

Good attitude and eagerness to learn and collaborate with other team members.
Knowledge of basic microbiological principles and aseptic handling of cultures.
Knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques like PCR, restriction digestion, cloning, DNA sequencing etc.
Media preparation and sterilization.
Isolation, screening and identification of bacterial/fungal cultures
Isolation of mutants and its productivity testing.
Good microbial lab techniques for handling microbial organisms.
Familiarity with analytical instruments like HPLC, UV-spectrophotometer etc.
Cross-functional collaboration with teams for development of strains.
