Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

TITLE: Senior Product Support Engineer

REPORTING TO: Application Support Manager

WORKING LOCATION: India, Bangalore / Chennai

The Role: Eurofins Digital Online solutions are used daily by over 22000 users in 48 countries (and growing, fast!). The Digital Online program is in need of an experienced Senior Product Support Engineer. As a key member of the global IT Solutions team, you play a critical role in providing a high level of IT service to our customers by maintaining the software applications.

We are looking for the right person who is passionate about keeping all of those users happy by being part of the L2 support team to troubleshoot, communicate and collaborate, and solve topics coming into our support queues.

Responsibilities: The role has primary responsibility for all aspects of service delivery to customers. Some of the responsibilities are listed below; however, these are not the exhaustive set of responsibilities.

• Proactive, professional technical support service for applications following ITIL guidelines.
• IT support and maintenance of business applications to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of global business operations.
• Create productive relationships with key users, vendors and colleagues to ensure timely and efficient resolution of incidents/problems.
• Work closely and collaborate with the Information Technology and Operations teams to support systems and process improvements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation / knowledgebase to ensure support, maintenance and recovery of all IT systems.
• Where required contribute to the training to ensure the correct implementation and use of the applications within the business.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

• Strong Computing and or IT background with at least 6-8 years of related work experience.
• eCommerce domain will be highly preferrable
• Strong IIS and web-based application knowledge. Especially troubleshooting knowledge of Web Server, App Server and DB Server is a must
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Databases is a must
• ITIL foundation certification is a must with clear understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, techniques of RCA and good understanding for the need of SLA
• Working knowledge of ESB or Message Queuing (MSMQ) is an added advantage
• Experience with microservices is an added advantage.
• Experience with Azure Platform Hosting is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and/or Shell Scripting
• Exposure to agile, DevOps and/or automation is desirable.

• Processes high domain knowledge - meaning very good understanding of the business, applications, and functionalities.
• Self-organizing, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills with troubleshooting and complex problem-solving ability is a must.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English

PREFERED CANDIDATES:

• BE Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor\'s degree with the right experience
• Will be an added advantage if worked on SaaS method
