About the Team:

  • You will be part of the Platform Foundation Product Management team at ServiceNow in India
  • The Platform Foundation team works on the building blocks of the ServiceNow Platform
  • These include services such as APIs, Core, Notifications, Document Services, Tags, i18N among many others
  • These services are used both by internal BUs as well as our customers and so form a very critical piece of the ServiceNow Platform - needless to say these are very high visibility Platform capabilities
  • All key individual contributor PMs have full and sole ownership of the products assigned to them - from Strategy to Building
What you get to do in this role:
  • Work from any of these locations - Remote (India) / Bangalore / Hyderabad
  • The Principal Inbound Product Manager (Internationalization) will be responsible for leading the Internationalization charter to extend ServiceNow's reach to non-English speaking customers globally
  • Interact and collaborate with global teams
  • Lead all aspects of product strategy that sets us up for success as we look to grow to $15B+ in revenue
  • Communicate product priorities and build consensus
  • Assume leadership responsibilities as an accountable owner who is committed to the outcome regardless of the role or organizational boundaries
  • Work with multiple teams (such as engineering, program management, documentation, QE, outbound product management and others) to guide projects through development and bring high-quality products to life
  • Work across product teams and business units to identify internationalization ramifications and drive successful adoption outcomes
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Gather, represent and evangelize the needs of our fast-growing international and multinational customer base with respect to international requirements
  • Work with our customers and globalization team to identify barriers to customer adoption and growth
  • Communicate complex problems into easily understood requirements and provide solutions
  • Develop multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the needs of different audiences
  • Lead the promoting of efforts across different groups of team members, along with the ability to influence inside and outside of your team.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:
  • **Mandatory Skill - Experience into Internationalization/Globalization of products managed**
  • 8+ years of software product management experience - specifically in a B2B context and having led Internationalization for large product companies with a global footprint
  • Good understanding of Internationalization standards and best practices
  • Has the technical depth to understand Internationalization frameworks, libraries and APIs and to be able to discuss them with engineering teams
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities
  • Experience defining and capturing product requirements and transforming them into a product roadmap
  • Deep curiosity about customer needs and a track record in building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Drive solution development through big-picture solution development
  • Ability to serve as a team lead and coach employees at lower levels
  • Candidates who can join immediately / with short notice and with prior Platform experience will be preferred
