Principal Software Engineer responsible for leading automotive software development and integration for Digital cockpit system / High performance computes nodes. Responsible for driving architectural and design discussions for cross-domain functionalities and solving cross-domain issues. Responsible for configuring and maintaining different software functional modules from the shared platform codebase and driving the software migration to the new kernel versions and Android pastries. Job Responsibilities: Architecture, design-related decision making Hardware/Software variant handling across digital cockpit products Feature enablement workshops for different customers and reference products Delivering multiple customer products from a shared platform codebase Technical gap assessment Technical coordination, problem triage, and solution Pre-integration process sanity, acceptance review Inter-domain dependency tracking Code review Skills Required: 12+ years of experience in embedded systems, focusing on Android, Linux, and QNX. Good Android development and customization experience Architecture and design knowledge of Android-based systems Experience in system integration and variant handling for automotive cockpit systems Experience in C, C++, Java, JNI Good experience in Linux development Experience in system virtualization and instrument cluster development is preferred Hands-on knowledge of all / any of the following functional areas: Media, Audio, BT/Wi-Fi/Connectivity, Systems/Security, Voice recognition, Navigation, Android Auto/Car Play, Tuner, Vehicle Interface System-level debugging What Role Offers you: Opportunity to work on evolving technologies in the automotive industry Knowledge and exposure to an overall digital cockpit system/high-performance compute node Opportunity to lead entire software development and integration activities of cockpit system.
