Baxter\xe2\x80\x99s Front Line Care business is a 1.1B$ business comprising of Connected monitoring, Respiratory health, Cardiology, Intelligent diagnostic groups. The products and solutions are used by clinicians in acute and ambulatory care settings globally.

As a Principal Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 SW at Baxter, your work contributes directly to making a significant impact in improving clinical management and in addressing the long-standing complaint in cardiac arrhythmia monitoring that traditional monitors are bulky, uncomfortable, and typically record noisy QRS signals. Position Overview

As a Principal Engineer for software, you will be an integral part of the SW development team at Bangalore R&D that will play a vital role in strategic NPD activities and in sustaining and continuing software activities for legacy BardyDx products including investigations for customer complaints, project work to address software issues within the products, and product enhancements to meet changes in the competitive marketplace. You will work with cross functional BardyDx resources located in the US.

The desired candidate will possess solid hands-on technical abilities, an excitement and energy for product development, and a passion for their work and the impact it has on meeting the needs of patients.

You will need to work collaboratively with the global R&D and cross functions.

The role is located in the R&D facility in Bangalore, India.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly responsible for designing, developing and maintaining cloud-based Web Applications and solutions to contribute towards new product development programs, sustenance activities and field issue resolution efforts.
• Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts/product owners, developers, QA, and other stakeholders, to prepare, analyze, and understand the requirements.
• Directly responsible for identifying, applying state-of-the-art architectural patterns and design techniques to translate requirements into modular, scalable software and Web solutions, that meet user needs.
• Lead project subsystem activities with minimal guidance/ supervision and collaborate with architect and developers to apply principles of SDLC and methodologies/processes such as IEC 62304, Lean, Agile, CI to deliver and maintain design outputs including code and documentation that meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Directly responsible for developing, debugging and testing of SW modules to ensure defect free operation and participate in code quality, security reviews to meet industry-wide quality & security standards.
• Embrace agility and adapt to changes in the project requirements and priorities and deliver high quality and timely deliverables.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, demos, retrospectives and software design meetings.

Qualifications / Experience and/or Background

• Education: A Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Must have a minimum of 12-15 years of proven experience in web development
• Domain Expertise: Healthcare experience is a plus
• Technical Skills:

Hands-on experience in developing solutions in PAAS environment on MS AZURE (preferred) / AWS/ Google Cloud environments.

Programming Languages: C#, Javascript;

Additional Experience with C++, Python is a plus.

Proven experience in .NET Framework and .NET Core. Solid understanding of database technologies including Azure SQL DB / MS SQL;

Knowledge in Azure Storage tables and/or Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL is a plus.

Working knowledge on Windows/Linux Server/Backend Components;

Experience in Node.js environment is a plus.

Enterprise Integration: Experience in applying design patterns for enterprise integration REST and Microservices; Working knowledge in API development using SOAP is a plus. Experience in Development and Continuous Integration tools such as Azure DevOps. Front End Technologies: Proven experience in ReactJS; Graph QL know-how is a plus. Container Orchestration: Hands on experience - Kubernetes, Docker Analysis and Design: Object oriented architecture, Design Patterns, UML Experience in using Code Quality tools like Coverity, Fortify, Unit test tools Hands on working knowledge in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) Experience in mobile App development using Kotlin is a plus.

• Knowledge of Mobile App development and Cybersecurity technology will be an advantage.
