As part of the Acute Therapies global hardware team, the candidate will lead eletrical design and engineering projects developing creative solutions to challenging problems associated with the support and continued development of our Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) products.

Projects are focused on creating and maintaining complex analog and digital electronic designs, including schematic capture and layout, prototyping, simulating, and debugging design. A strong focus will be on sustaining engineering activities while supporting new product development. Engineering tasks involve requirements, specifications, concept and design development, design implementation, prototype and formal verification testing, transfer to manufacturing, quality assurance and purchasing initiatives, root cause analysis investigations, change orders, supply chain development, NCRs, and CAPAs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and revise specifications, schematics and drawings for printed circuit board assemblies and other electronic/electro-mechanical components
  • Troubleshoot electronic issues and determine solutions related to electronic component field issues
  • Perform electronic tolerance analysis to ensure product performs within requirements
  • Perform simulations of electronic circuits to verify functionality within component tolerances
  • Document design and change activities using document control systems
  • Analyze and develop solutions to resolve issues associated with semi-custom components, including interfacing with suppliers of components
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 7 years\' experience in design of analog and digital printed circuit board assemblies
  • Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience using electronic lab equipment to test and verify analog and digital electronic performance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering disciplines
  • Proficiency with MS Office and other office productivity tools
  • Clear and effective English communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with others across disciplines collaboratively.
  • Comfortable and effective in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of duties.
  • Has strong self-initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectives.
