The role will help in supporting ECN on the Novartis portfolio analysis & supporting key stakeholders of business and helping them to take key decisions with data. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: . Primary responsibility of the role is to lead strategic business projects for Novartis Group, the CEO and the Executive Committee (ECN), with the aim of improving economic value and securing future driven advantage. this person will be handling a portfolio of the flagship projects and programs, ensuring they deliver business results. . Aligning to Corporate Strategy drives and work streams as defined by the Novartis Leadership and Support and lead major strategic projects at any time from project scoping, creating content and managing of partners . Generate strategic insights based on outstanding analysis, distills outputs and recommendations, which enable informed decisions of top leaders and Coordinate sources to efficiently drive and deliver programs/projects. . Identifies, plans, develops, and leads programs (2-3 in parallel) for the markets in scope which are related to a specific disease area, and which will lead to a commercial benefit for the company (Outcomes Based Commercial Models) ensure awareness and understanding of top Novartis leaders on OBCMs . Find opportunities based on Novartis priorities and markets\' needs and commit with decision makers in healthcare systems (e.g. payers, regional governors etc.) on concrete projects . Connect projects with business priorities of relevant Novartis entities and enable internal Novartis associates to drive outcomes projects successfully and guide/train Novartis country/franchise teams to drive (parts of) the agreed project independently and coach associates to ensure positive outcome of project . Ensure smooth running of the PMO team on large transformation projects in line with expectations of the business leads and ensure that the PMO methods, standards, and toolset remain valid and fit for purpose and work closely with the Head of PMOaaS on the development of strategy and roadmap. . Perform health checks working with project/program managers and business sponsors to resolve any anomalies Diversity & Inclusion / EEO Minimum Requirements What you\'ll bring to the role: . Master\'s in either a Science, Engineering, or IT with and MBA (or equivalent) in Marketing or associated field is required. . Certification in PMP or Agile/Scrum or PRINCE2 is required. . Strategy Development, Mid to Large scale portfolio, program and project management, Functional Breadth, Major Change initiatives, Collaborating across organizational boundaries, Organization Scope, Scale and Complexity, Financial Management, Industry/ Business Exposure . Organizational Savvy, Breakthrough Analysis, Applied Business Insights, Outcome focused, Service Excellence, Collaborator, Influencing, Communicating . Critical Thinking and Planning, Modeling and Quantifying Business and Investment Cases with High Uncertainty, Developing and Delivering Story Flows and Presentations for Management, Knowledge of How to Address the Challenges in the Healthcare Environment, Knowledge of Current and Future Global Business Trends, Assessing Impact of (internal & external) Changes on transformations, Deep knowledge of portfolio/program, and project management requirements, trends, enabling technologies, and risk management Desirable . Ensuring project management information is relevant, accurate, and intuitive to support effective & timely decision-making . Facilitate project prioritization discussions providing relevant information to enable senior sponsors in their decision-making. .
