Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - DBA In this role, you will be responsible for Monitor system%27s health and performance and troubleshooting problems. Ensure high levels of performance, sustainability, and DB security. Responsibilities . Manage SQL Server database, Configure and maintain database servers and processes . Capacity planning and monitoring database growth. . Experience in setting up MS SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions including failover clustering, replication, log shipping and database mirroring . Proficient in SQLServer database installation, patch up upgrade, storage structure, backup and recovery policy . Experience in user creation, defining backup policy, creating and maintaining stored procedures and other database objects . Ability to minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses . Should have good experience in database monitoring and having experience in %27MySQL enterprise monitor%27 will be a added advantage. . Good knowledge on MySQL versions (5.7.X and 8.0.x) and engines such as InnoDB and MyISAM. . Good Knowledge on Linux Shell Scripting. . Knowledge on Preparing RCA. . Hands-on experience in Day to Day SQL Database maintenance activities . Reviewing the Activity logs and troubleshooting the errors. . Client facing role with end-to-end ownership. Qualifications Minimum qualifications . B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ MBA or equivalent Preferred Qualifications . Experience as a DBA . Having Experience as Core DBA (MySQL, SQL Server) as well as Application DBA (Performance Tuning, working with Dev team Etc.) . Good knowledge of MYSQL architecture. . Must Have Knowledge on MYSQL GTID replication Master slave and troubleshooting. . Must have knowledge of setting MYSQL Query tuning, troubleshooting. . Must have good knowledge of Performance tuning of MYSQL databases. . Must have good knowledge of MYSQL database up-gradation. . Installation and configuration of MySQL on Linux. . Understanding MYSQL Backup & Recovery and having experience in %27MySQL backup%27 will have added advantage.
