Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant \xe2\x80\x93 AWS Cloud Engineer

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for cloud with knowledge of different cloud architecture environments, virtualization, and data center automation. Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Architecting to help customers get value from client Platform. This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Computer Science/ Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self-starter you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Develop and Maintain AWS Cloud Services in accordance with Security and Standards.

\xc2\xb7 Write solution design documents

\xc2\xb7 Present the solution definition documentation to Architecture review council;

\xc2\xb7 Design architecture for high availability and security-first approach;

\xc2\xb7 Design architecture for sizing / scalability and performance;

\xc2\xb7 Remediate any availability, regulatory or performance-related operational deficiencies;

\xc2\xb7 Notify Client of changes to and adoptions of new cloud technology;

\xc2\xb7 Remain current in the knowledge and use of cloud technology, virtualization, compute, storage and management products.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

\xc2\xb7 Strong communication and written skills

\xc2\xb7 Overall Good Experience in Infrastructure and Operations

\xc2\xb7 Good Experience in Cloud Architecture and Engineering services

\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience with AWS cloud native services

\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience with AWS container services

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts

\xc2\xb7 Experience creating technical architecture documentation

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

\xc2\xb7 Hands on experience Architecting and Designing solutions on AWS

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud (encryption of data in motion/rest and key management)

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Linux and Windows containers

\xc2\xb7 Experience with Open Source Cloud and configuration management tools (Terraform Ansible, etc.)

\xc2\xb7 Experience with alternate cloud providers (e.g. Azure)

\xc2\xb7 Experience in the Manufacturing industry
