Principal Audit Analyst Position Overview Job Title- Principal Audit Analyst - Corporate Bank Corporate Title- Associate Location- Mumbai Role Description: Reporting to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for Corporate Bank (CB) APAC, based in Singapore, this role is a member of the Group Audit (GA) regional CB audit team. The team is primarily responsible for coverage of CB products Trade Finance, Cash Management, Securities Services and Trust Agency Services across APAC. The role also requires close liaison and co-ordination with Principal Audit Managers and staff from other audit teams to facilitate effective coverage of key risks to ensure the timely and high quality delivery of the audit plan. Finally, the individual will be expected to pro-actively propose and contribute to initiatives supporting the continuing development of the CB audit team, as well as Group Audit overall. The individual will need to demonstrate that they are self-motivated and innovative, have strong communication skills, a delivery focus and be able to work effectively under pressure. The candidate will be expected to Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to business area risks in accordance with Group Audit Methodology and the established risk assessment framework. Participate and lead regional/global risk-based audits and regulatory audits. Also, the candidate will support PAM to implement dynamic planning through continuous monitoring of the business. Contribute to overall implementation of Group Audit Methodology including Risk Assessment Profiles/ Continuous Audit Assessment. Draft audit findings for review by audit management and facilitate audit issue tracking and validation of audit issues. Complete all work assigned to them on a timely basis. This may also include ad-hoc projects and special investigations. Pro-actively develop professional relationships across the DB franchise and to communicate orally and in writing the results of their work to clients at all levels. Work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally. Understand the client\'s marketplace and will continue to develop technical expertise relevant to the industry. Some international travel may be required (subject to Bank and government restrictions and requirements). Your skills and experience Minimum 5 years of audit experience in financial services or \'big 4\' accounting firm. Relevant qualification preferred, such as Chartered Accountant, CIA, CPA or equivalent International experience coupled with a familiarity of working in a global organisation will be preferred. Reasonable understanding front to back processes within the CB environment (Trade, Cash, Custody, Fund accounting or Corporate Trust). Candidate must be able to conduct client interviews/ walkthroughs to identify and document key risks, processes and controls. Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, influencing, planning and presentation skills. Good knowledge of auditing standards and concepts. Ability to multi-task assignments, prioritize workload with limited supervision and be resilient under pressure when faced with tight deadlines. Able to work in virtual, global teams in a matrix organisation, transfer knowledge and develop capability of team members. Unquestionable personal integrity and ethics.
