Job Responsibilities :

The Head Of Talent Business Partnership is both a strategic and hands-on role that is critical in executing our people initiatives and driving people functional excellence and process improvements. This role reports to the Head of People & Talent Development

• Develop annual and quarterly plans for the talent business partnership team based on the overall people & talent development strategy. Lead this team to effectively achieve the strategic goals for the short and long term
• Cultivate the talent business partnership team into developing the right capabilities and mindset for now and the future
• Ensure that the business units are receiving the right level of support through their talented business partners in order to meet their people-related needs
• Oversee all India-level people processes, practices, and systems. Improve processes and practices using industry trends and best practices on a continuous basis. This covers areas such as: TotalRewards/Compensation, Grade Change, Growth & Performance Processes, People Policies, Engagement & Retention
• Act as a steward of Thoughtworks culture
• Lead change programs in the talent business partnership space in liaison with global and India-level stakeholders
• Serve as the point of contact for employee relations-related needs
• Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required or guide the talent business partners to do so where relevant
• Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards, Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
• Report important employee trends to the head of people and senior management using HR data and analytics
• Contribute to the overall people and talent development strategy for a rapidly growing and changing organization

Job Qualifications:

• 17-20 years of Human Resource Management and/or talent development experience, at least 5-7 years of experience working in the IT industry
• Has played mid to senior-level leadership roles across the spectrum of HR & Talent development

Professional Skills:

• Strong experience in all major areas of the people function - Talent / HR business partnership, comp&ben, people policies, people processes (promotions, performance, etc)
• Strategic planning and organizing skills.
• Strategic reporting and governance skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work creatively and analytically demonstrating deep problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated success in contributing to a collaborative and distributed delivery environment
• Prior experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports and leading large HR teams with talented HR professionals
