Exploring the Role:

We, at RateGain, are looking for a strategic leader who understands evolving technology of the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem for one our Business Units (ADARA) that revolves around leveraging travel data to deliver valuable insights and marketing solutions that drive customer engagement, improve marketing effectiveness, and enhance the overall travel experience for both brands and travelers. As the President & General Manager for ADARA, you will assume overall responsibility for leading and driving the success of the business. You will provide strategic direction, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure operational excellence. This role requires deep understanding of Adtech/MarTech industry to leverage industry knowledge and networks to identify potential business prospects and enhance market positioning for ADARA.

How will your day look like?

You will be responsible:

  • To define and execute an overall expansion strategy for ADARA to achieve the topline and bottom-line Strategize for product and services to maximize growth by exploiting opportunities due to evolution in tracking, data collaboration and offerings in advertisement industry especially in travel domain
  • Collaborate with the leaders like head of technology, head of services to define and execute the integration, GTM & Innovation for overall success Drive & maintain key executive relationships to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to shape the ADARA\'s strategic direction & value proposition.
  • Act as the key evangelist and spokesperson representing ADARA\'s vision, values, and offerings to key customers, tech partners, data owners, industry influencers, thought leaders, and key stakeholders to enhance the company\'s reputation and market presence and open doors for incremental talks.
  • Maintain deep awareness of market dynamics in the travel/hospitality and Adtech/Martech domain.
  • Design strong checks, controls and processes to address business hygiene across functions, such overall bookings, EBIDTA, ARR, Renewal, NPS, tech deliverables & adherence to product roadmap etc.
  • Set clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to align the organization and measure progress towards strategic goals.
  • Review all financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements through comprehensive budgeting.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, collaborate and align stakeholders (customers, analysts and technology experts) by working as a thought leader in travel industry on recent trends in technology, evolution and Adara\'s leadership role.
  • Communicate regularly with other stakeholders including the C-Suite and the core members based across the globe. To build and recruit a strong team of A-players.
Knowledge:
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the AdTech and MarTech landscape, including industry trends, technologies, etc.
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising, programmatic advertising, data management platforms (DMPs), (CRM) etc. and emerging platfors like CTV
Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively articulate adtech and martech strategies, concepts, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Can represent ADARA as a thought leader and industry expert, at conferences and industry events.
  • Can engage with C-suite customers, industry associations, regulatory bodies, and government agencies to shape policies and advocate for ADARA\'s value proposition
  • Experience of working with travel clients will be an advantage for the success of this role.
Work Experience:
  • Proven experience in a leadership/P&L owner role preferably over $40M - $50M in AdTech/MarTech Industry
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging adtech and martech solutions to drive business growth, customer engagement, and revenue generation
  • Experience in integrating adtech and martech solutions with other business systems and platforms for seamless operations and data flow.
Abilities:
  • Ability to stay updated with the evolving adtech and martech industry, including emerging technologies, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with privacy and data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, and their implications on adtech & martech operations.
  • Ability to manage complex route to market and sales channels interactions to maximize margins and profitability across market activities with commercial and product partners.
