Skills Required:

Job Purpose

To provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children (class KG to 5th ), fostering their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through structured learning experiences and age-appropriate activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the school curriculum. Introduce foundational concepts in literacy, numeracy, communication, and motor skills. Use creative teaching methods such as storytelling, play-based learning, rhymes, art, and games. Conduct regular assessments and maintain records of individual student progress.

Classroom Management

Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Establish routines and a positive learning atmosphere. Manage student behavior with patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement.

Child Development Support

Identify developmental needs or learning difficulties and communicate them to parents/management. Encourage social skills, sharing, discipline, and emotional expression. Foster independent habits such as eating, hygiene, and self-care.

Parent Communication

Provide regular updates to parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in parent-teacher meetings, events, and school programs.

School Activities

Support celebrations, events, competitions, and cultural programs. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Administrative Duties

Maintain class files, attendance registers, and activity records. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and learning materials.

Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Any Degree

/

Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Montessori Training / B.Ed (Optional for Pre-Primary)

Experience:

1-3 years (freshers with training can also be considered)

Excellent communication and child-handling skills Patience, creativity, and empathy Classroom management skills Ability to plan and organize learning activities Basic computer knowledge is an added advantage

Working Hours

As per the school timetable and academic calendar requirements.
