Job Description


Role Responsibilities

The role will be instrumental in gaining a deeper understanding of the PRB products in relation to the group policy, regional context and internal stakeholders and thereby deliver consistent, fair and transparent outputs, which will enable the HR unit make appropriate decisions at the right time. The role will be positioned to drive collaborative solutions across the PRB delivery chain and enable the delivery team act and communicate with \xe2\x80\x9cone voice\xe2\x80\x9d that ensure all our processes, initiatives, solutions are integrated and appropriate for the stakeholders.

With the end-to-end delivery and approval process in mind, the role will also take an active part in solutioning any product changes across the delivery chain in consultation with relevant specialist teams.

  • Where appropriate and stakeholder relationships may rest with other PRB colleagues, ensure that the knowledge / outcome of these relationships are captured and communicated appropriately within PRB. Be the product lead
  • Challenge the status quo with intellectual curiosity and personal courage, to promote ideation and creative thinking
  • Promptly escalate any potential issues, such as, but not limited to, implementation challenges, project delays, risks, feedback and material deviation from approved scope to Head, Performance, Reward and Benefits, India & South Asia
Responsibilities

Strategy
  • Develop expertise in all performance, reward and benefits (\xe2\x80\x9cPRB\xe2\x80\x9d) issues, acting as a trusted adviser.
  • Provide advice on compensation matters, including structuring packages, reviewing new hires, changes to existing employees\xe2\x80\x99 contracts, developing high remuneration recruit proposals, mobility taxation and share buy-outs.
  • Participate in the development of PRB products Group-wide, coordinating and championing activities within the respective markets and providing feedback into the design of PRB products as they relate to the relevant country teams and client groups.
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions in relation to fair pay and wellbeing.
  • Review and implement country specific benefits, in consultation with the global Pensions and Benefits team to maintain alignment to internal benefit standards and competitiveness in the market.
  • Work with key stakeholders on remuneration related matters
Processes
  • Collaborate with PRB product teams to achieve excellence in the implementation of PRB products and policies across businesses and functions, seeking to improve understanding to drive business performance and employee motivation.
  • Manage year end performance and pay review processes from the perspective of the region, in line with Group guidelines.
  • Participate in compensation and benefit market surveys, analyse results and make appropriate recommendations to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Prepare, review and maintain salary ranges for specific job facilities.
  • Collaborate with all PRB specialists on market pricing to increase the level of consistency across markets, reduce vendor costs and generally ensure data is used in an impactful manner.
  • Manage, evaluate and improve effectiveness of all HR products, plans and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of PRB by technology enhancements, migration to the PRB delivery or operations teams or process improvements.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of reward policies, programmes and processes in achieving business needs.
Risk Management
  • Provide support with ensuring operational risk and compliance requirements related to PRB advisory are met.
Governance
  • Provide support on the analysis of reward-related regulation and legislation, reviewing alignment to internal practices.
  • Support decision-making and regulatory discussion on the effective risk adjustment of remuneration.
  • Draft papers and provide advice to enable reward governance committees and forums to effectively perform their duties. This includes:

  • Structured Incentives forums etc

Qualifications

Training, licenses, memberships and certifications
  • A minimum of 6 \xe2\x80\x93 8 years of experience in Human resources with atleast 3 - 4 years focused on compensation and benefits
  • Experience in the BFSI sector either directly or as a consultant would be preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with strategic thinking and great attention to details
  • Strong planning, organization and time management skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Good project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage various deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, self-starter, motivated, team player with good interpersonal skills to deal with all levels
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
