Job Description
6-9 years of experience in PostgreSQL support work Strong backup and restore (pg_dump, physical backup tools) experience Strong database performance tuning Strong SQL Query tuning and development experience Strong troubleshooting skills Solid experience with Postgres PL/pgSQL Replication and failover experience User and object permission management Postgres versions, 12+, 13, 14 Linux Command-line Operating System Experience (Centos/RHEL 7/8 Preferred) Linux software install and configuration Scripting and task automation (Bash, Python, Git) Networking as related to database (Linux iptables, DNS, load balancers) It Would Be An Advantage For You To Have
- Solid experience in Oracle DBA will be a significant differentiator.
- Experience configuring & implementing Oracle 12c and 19c
- 6+ or more years of direct experience with Oracle Exadata OS and environment,Work in oracle multitenant, OEM Cloud experience, Oracle Active Data Guard.
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including cloud DB technologies (RDS, Aurora)
- Experience with Patroni high availability
